Popular and welcoming village pub dating back from the 16th century, although a pub since 1901 with Victorian additions. It has three rooms, a cosy bar, games room with Northants skittles, and a back room used as a 26-seater restaurant which can also be booked for club and group meetings. Very much at the heart of the village, it holds many events throughout the ear to support the village. Two ever-changing guest beers and Old Rosie cider available. Wednesday is live music night, with open mic sessions every other week. A festival is held in October. The pub is also an information point for South Northamptonshire guides, with a well-stacked unit with things to do in the area including canal walks and cycling. Judged local CAMRA Rural Pub of the Year 2015.
