At our last Branch Meeting, the Earl of Dalkeith was voted Town Pub of the Season Summer 2018. It has been managed by Rob Keen who has done much to support real ale in the pub by organising beer tasting sessions prior to the annual Beer Festival and other events. Presentation will be at 20.00.

Publicans across Leicester are organising a beer week and throughout the day on Saturday are running an East Midlands CAMRA pub games fest inviting branches from around the area to compete in darts, dominoes, shove'appeny, devil among the tailors and possibly more. These are likely to be staggered across the day, so if you are interested in representing the branch, then please let me know by 15th September so that I can inform the organiser that we are likely to have a team. More information near the time.
