PUB OF THE YEAR PRESENTATION – ECTON – NN6 0NA – LocAle - WED 10th APRIL
Our first presentation of the year takes place following a lengthy judging process for the Pub of the Year Award which has resulted in the Three Horseshoes being judged Pub of the Year 2024. Keith Edwards is one of the longest serving landlords, having been at the helm for 37 years and along with his staff, offer a very friendly environment where locals and visitors mingle freely. As a rare wet-led pub, its serves the community with regular events and weekly pub teams. Oh, and it has its own brewery too! Meet at 20:00 for the presentation at 20:30

TOWN PUB OF THE YEAR PRESENTATION – TOWCESTER – NN12 6YY – LocAle - FRI 19th APRIL
Our second presentation following the Pub of the Year judging is for Town Pub of the Year 2024 which takes us to the Towcester Mill Brewery Tap. This vibrant brewery tap has grown since its early years and showcases the award-winning Towcester Mill beers. Today also sees the start of their St George’s Day Beer Fest. Meet at 19:30 for the presentation which will take place at 20:00

SOCIAL BREWERY BEER FESTIVAL – TOWCESTER – NN12 8AW – LocAle - SAT 27th APRIL
The annual beer festival at the Towcestrians Sports Club, Greens Norton Road, takes place over the weekend. So a first for the Branch although 13th such event is a social here which features 60 real ales and 30 ciders. With live music and food throughout the weekend, this is a good introduction to the beer festival season. So why not pop-up to Towcester. Meet from 12:00

RURAL PUB OF THE YEAR PRESENTATION – ABTHORPE – NN12 8QR – LocAle - WED 8th MAY
Our next presentation of our Pub of the Year Awards takes us to the south west of the county to the New Inn, Abthorpe, a delightful village pub where we present the award of Rural Pub of the Year 2024. This popular community pub is always busy, appealing to young and old, ladies and gents. Meet at 19:30 for a presentation to Rob and his staff at 20:00

BRANCH MEETING AND CLUB OF THE YEAR PRESENTATION – RUSHDEN –NN10 0AW- LocAle - MON 13TH MAY
Always a favourite, we hold our meeting aboard the railway coach in the platform at the Rushden Historical Transport Society where six beers including a dark and two ciders are always available. Tonight we also present Simon and his staff with our Joint Club of the Year Award 2024. The club is not a stranger to this award and in the past has gone on to win the National competition twice. Meeting starts at 20:00 with the presentation taking place at 21:00 during the beer break

SOCIAL BREWERY BEER FESTIVAL – KETTERING - POTBELLY – NN16 0HY - LocAle - FRI 17th MAY
The Potbelly Summer Beer, Cider and Gin Festival is in the diary so we will hold our popular social here on the Friday afternoon and into the evening. Around thirty beers including regulars from the brewery, plus a wide range of cider too. The actual brewery entrance is on Sidney Street, Kettering. Meet at 15:00 onwards. In addition, we will launch the Ale Trail for the eastern side of the county. Please note cash only

SOCIAL BREWERY BEER FESTIVAL – NORTHAMPTON – PHIPPS NBC – NN1 1PR – LocAle - SAT 25th MAY
To celebrate their 10th Anniversary, the Albion Brewery Tap will be holding a beer festival over the Bank Holiday weekend. So why not pop down for a few beers and get your Ale Trail card as the Northampton element will be launched here. Meet from 12:00

NORTHAMPTON BEER FESTIVAL – NORTHAMPTON – LocAle - THE 30th MAY – SAT 1st JUNE
Beer Festival heaven as once again the branch attends the Northampton County Beer Festival which takes part at Becket’s Park and will be back to three days this year; opening at 16:00 on the Thursday. Once again our Branch will support the running of the real ale and cider bars. Staff are required at all sessions if you can spare a few hours
